HCMUT HPC Summer School 2026: Day 3 Afternoon Seminar & Closing Ceremony

On Friday, 19 June 2026, the HCMUT HPC Summer School 2026 reached a significant milestone. The Day 3 afternoon session brought together students, researchers, and international lecturers for a comprehensive Academic Seminar followed by the official Closing Ceremony.
Held from 13:30 to 17:00 (Asia/Ho_Chi_Minh time zone), the session was accessible globally via Google Meet, allowing participants from various institutions, including members of our TU ACM SIGHPC Student Chapter, to attend and engage with state-of-the-art supercomputing discussions.
Agenda & Highlights
The afternoon featured academic seminars designed to showcase current research frontiers in high-performance computing and parallel systems. A notable highlight of the afternoon was a highly anticipated presentation by Dr. Fabrizio.
To ensure a smooth delivery and accommodate a timing adjustment for Dr. Fabrizio’s session, the organizing committee released an updated schedule shortly before the session. The seminar provided the audience with deep insights into cutting-edge HPC infrastructures, high-performance algorithms, and the integration of AI models on supercomputing clusters.

A Celebratory Closing
Following the seminars, the school concluded with the Closing Ceremony. The organizing committee, led by Program Coordinator Thanh Hoang Le Hai, expressed sincere appreciation to all participants, volunteers, and sponsoring chapters for their continued support.
The summer school has played a vital role in building an expert network and developing HPC capacity in the region, equipping the next generation of engineers with the skills necessary to harness the power of national supercomputers.
